Alayna Brovont
Alayna Brovont is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. She has a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts from Southern Virginia University where she also studied Music and Theater. She has experience teaching lower elementary in both Montessori and public school settings and is excited to be back in a Montessori classroom. She loves getting to know her students as individuals and helping each one to gain confidence and independence. When Alayna isn’t teaching she enjoys reading, playing board games with friends, and spending time with her cat.

Tasia Carson
Ms. Tasia holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. She recently achieved an Elementary Education degree and is excited to be leading the newly-created Middle Elementary team at Ignite. She attended an early college high school called UCAS while she also attended classes at UVU. Tasia has been with Ignite since its opening year, working first as a lower elementary teacher assistant and loved it so much that she has dedicated the past couple of years to becoming a licensed teacher. She enjoys being around kids and being able to encourage their development. Tasia lives in American Fork with her son and daughter, who was just born this past summer.

Amber Mortensen

Amber Mortensen
Amber grew up in Fillmore, Utah, but lived in the Midwest for roughly half of her adult life, including time in Michigan, Ohio, and a decade in Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor’s
of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Master of Arts in Montessori Leadership from Sarasota University. During her thirteen year career teaching young children, her emphasis in the classroom has been on nurturing emotional intelligence,
curiosity and wonder in a trauma-informed environment. Her husband of 24 years and their five children are her best friends. They are a quirky, nerdy family who enjoys all things geek, being together in nature, fostering their unique talents, and laughing
and playing together.

Ashley Ericksen

Ashley Ericksen
Ashley Ericksen grew up in Texas and moved to Utah to pursue nail school. She decided that she would actually like to be a teacher and has been working with kids for three years. She loves seeing kids grow and change over the school year, and find who they are. In her free time she loves reading, going up to the canyon, hanging out with her friends and family. She is very passionate about helping kids become the best versions of themselves and to learn and grow.

Jayde Waite
Jayde loves being a part of Ignite’s team and being in the Special Education department. She loves being with the students and helping them to find success. Learning alongside them is very rewarding to her. Jayde enjoys being with her family, going to the lake, playing board games and reading. She is excited for another great year at Ignite!

Haleigh Morris

Haleigh Morris
Haleigh Morris is from Southern California. She recently earned her bachelors in elementary education and is excited to start her journey as a teacher at Ignite! Haleigh worked as a teacher assistant in lower elementary at Ignite before moving to upper elementary to enjoy experiences with 4th-6th graders. She loves the outdoors, yoga, and ice cream!

Dani Klappoth

Dani Klappoth
Dani Klappoth is originally from the Pacific Northwest, but has been in Utah permanently since 2009. She has her bachelor's degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University. Her original goal was to work for the state in some community health capacity; as she has two kids that attend Ignite and she loves the school, she decided to pivot her career path. This will be her first year co-teaching Middle Elementary. While she's not busy being inspired by her students, Dani teaches a hip-hop fitness class, sings, loves being in the mountains, and loves to read.
